Okene: We Are Hunting for New Soccer Talents – Arsenal Supporters

The President/Coordinator of Arsenal Supporters in Nigeria, Emeka Onyenuforo has said that the group is working to ensure that more youths, particularly Arsenal fans in Nigeria gets involved in professional soccer.

Onyenuforo gave this indication in Okene the headquarters of Okene Local Government Area of Kogi state, during this year’s Kogi Central Arsenal get together to showcase the club in the area.
According to him, the group will support local competitions targetted at hunting for talents which  will be projected to International limelight.
He commended the peaceful way the Arsenal fans drawn from the five local government areas which constitute the Kogi Central district of Kogi state conducted themselves.
In order to make the yearly celebrations more vibrant, the President promised to give all the needed support to the Kogi Central Arsenal supporters group.
Speaking earlier one of the foremost Arsenal Supporters  and the backbone of the group in the area, Dr. Jerry Ohikere thanked Mr Onyenuforo for finding time to grace this year’s Arsenal day in Okene Kogi State.
According to Ohikere, the visit will serve as an encouragement to Arsenal supporters in the area and promised to Sustain the tempo.
This year’s activities include road show, procession, get together, dance and funfare.
