Okene Administrator Pledge to Rebuild Okengwe Town Hall

The Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has assured the leadership of Okengwe Development Association (ODA) that his administration will provide the needed supports to enable the Association continue to execute her aims and objectives.

Hon. Abdulrazaq stated this on Wednesday when he received the newly elected executives of the Association in his office on a courtesy visit. They were led by the home branch Chairman, Mall. Hussein Amoka.

The Council Administrator assured the new leaders of his determination to sustain the peace and security of the town as well as embark on more infrastructural developments in Okengwe Kingdom. 

He promised to rebuild Okengwe township hall to modern standard, fence the two burial ground and employ more security personnel to manned the area.

The Council boss however solicited the support and cooperation of the people of Okengwe district to enable his government achieve her set goals. 

Earlier in his address, ODA Chairman, Mall. Hussein Amoka eulogised the leadership qualities of the Council Administrator, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad saying the Association and indeed the good people of Okengwe appreciates his kind gestures.

He highlighted some of his interventions in the area which include the repair of the collapsed bridges at Ozuma road, rehabilitation of boreholes, peace, security of lives and property among others.   

While requesting for more supports, the association passed a vote of confidence on the Council Administrator and promised to support his desires and aspirations to move the Local Government forward.
