Okene Local Government Administrator, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has extolled the leadership qualities of the former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere whom he described as a seasoned public servant and a dogged politician that successfully managed both human and material resources of the ministry for the overall development of the state.
In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Abdulmumin Abubakar in Okene, the Council Administrator explained that, the synergy and peaceful coexistence between the 21 Local Government administration which characterized Ohere’s tenure at the ministry was as a result of his administrative experience, managerial skills and his passion for human capital development.
Hon. Abdulrazaq therefore expressed confidence that, Ohere’s new assignment as Commissioner at the ministry of Works and Housing will witness another phase of rapid transformation as a result of his developmental ideas in the next level agenda of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration.
Again, the Local Government Administrator also congratulates the new Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Abdulsalam Ozigi Deedat saying his appointment is a round peg in a round hole.
According to the Council boss, Barr. Deedat is a trusted and a dependable member of the new direction family, he has strong believed in the vision to develop the state as champion by Gov. Yahaya Bello, therefore, I have no doubt that he will excel in this new responsibility.
The Council Administrator on behalf of his administrative team welcome the new helmsman and assure him of their support and cooperation to move the ministry forward.
