Ojuju Agbadufu has presented a proposed development plan for Igala land to the paramount monarch in the area, the Ata of Igala, Agabaidu Mathew Opaluwa, as their way of further contribution to the developmental roadmap of the kingdom.
The presentation was made on Friday when Ojuju Agbadufu paid the reverred monarch a formal courtesy visit in Idah.
Speaking with news men after the meeting, Mr Christopher Ukwenya said Ojuju Agbadufu took the painstaking efforts of drafting the development plans because over the years, Igala land have no documented development roadmap.
He further stated that the plan came about as a result of Ojuju Agbadufu interactions, research and consultation overtime.
Ukwenya explained that it is actually a proposed development plan that can be further enlarged or redirected to accommodate more ideas to form a working document.
Comrade Maji Isah, the Clerk of Council of Ojuju Agbadufu, said the document covered education, agricultural, transportation, health, security, socio-cultural and tourism development plans.
Maji added that the document also covered new leadership succession plan, Igala development trust fund and detailed all the mineral resources in Igala land, where they can be found and their qualities.
This presentation is coming months after Ojuju Agbadufu’s involvement in the renovation and processes leading to the traditional installation of Ata Igala, Agabaidu Mathew Alaji Opaluwa.
