The Oladele John Nihi Foundation (OJN-Foundation) has announced plans to launch the maiden edition of its football talent tournament.
In a statement on Saturday, founder of the foundation, Hon. Oladele Nihi, said the launch will be part of activities lined up for this year’s OJN Annual Symposium.
He explained that the football talent tournament is aimed at discovering, nurturing, and supporting talented young footballers by providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills and gain exposure to both national and international platforms.
“It also seeks to promote unity, teamwork, and healthy competition among our youths.
“The OJN Football Talent Tournament is set to become another flagship annual event of the Oladele John Nihi Foundation, in partnership with Anchor Football Academy,” he said.
The maiden edition of the tournament will run from 24th June to 11th July, 2026, at the Confluence Stadium, Zone 8, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Nihi said the tournament promises exciting football action and the discovery of the next generation of football stars.
