The senatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kogi Central in the 2023 general elections, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has condemned the killings in the Ogane Nigu area of Dekina local government area of the state.
The PDP senatorial candidate made this known in a message to condole the families of the victims.
While praying to God to give the souls of the victims respite and the fortitude for the families to bear the loss, Natasha called on the government and relevant individuals to step in and resolve the issue which has now escalated and resulted in what she described as ‘avoidable deaths.’
Herders and farmers in the area have been at loggerheads which have led to the loss of lives and properties in the community.
