The Care taker Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon Muhammed Musa Lawal has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo fo his quick response to Agojo Eju Odo communal attack which claimed some lives, saying that the people of Kogi East will remain supportive to his administration.
Hon Muhammed Lawal who made the commendation in his Office at Ugwolawo while receiving the Professional Hunters Group of Nigeria, Ajoh Unit, said that his administration will consolidate with the vision of Governor Usman Ododo in securing the state.
According to a press release signed by the principal information officer of the council, Omede Samuel, the chairman noted that his administration will not cease to support credible security groups who are bent in securing our environment. He promised to supply some of the needed tools to the group in order to aid them in their operations.
Earlier, the Commandant of the Professional Hunters Group of Nigeria, Ajoh Unit, Eld Nathaniel Achema applauded the Caretaker Chairman for his pragmatic approach to leadership, saying that the Hunters Group will continue to support his administration to succeed in the area of security.
Eld Achema brought to the notice of the Chairman their efforts in preventing the activities of kidnappers in Ajoh, Itobe Area of Ofu Local Government, adding that within a short period of time, the group was able to rescue some people from the hands of kidnappers.
The Divisional Security Officer (DSO), Ofu Local Government Council, Hon Attai Muhammed thanked the Chairman for being sensitive to security challenges in the Local Government, adding that his office will do everything possible to the success of this administration.
