The Executive Chairman, Ofu Local Government Council, Hon Muhammed Musa Lawal says his administration will do her best to support the physically challenged persons in the area.
While presenting tricycles to physically challenged persons in the area, the Chairman called on members of his administration to be committed to human development projects, adding that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is human development oriented.
Hon Lawal called on physically challenged persons to be united in their pursuit, assuring that the government will do its best to make life favourable for them.
Earlier, the Chairman of Physically Challenged Persons in the area, Mallam Lukman Siaka thanked the council chairman for his commitment to people with disabilities, pledging their continued to support for his administration.
In a press release signed by Omede Idoko Samuel, Principal Information Officer, Ofu Local Government Council, Mall Lukeman called on the physically challenged persons in the area to be loyal to the government, assuring them that the administration of Muhammed Musa Lawal is people’s friendly.
In a vote of thanks, the DLG/HOS, Ofu Local Government Council, Deaconess Rachel Ukwo John said the physically challenged persons are not less privileged, adding that it is the responsibility of government to support them.
She said that the government will look into their request and will attend to them gradually.
