In Nigeria, politics by our own definition and action is a “business enterprise”, aligning with who get what, based one’s political involvement, engagement and participation.

This has made mess or mockery of good leadership, good administration and good desirably to be delivered to the majority of the people.

Undoubtedly, one of the main weapon of government and governance in Nigeria is oppression and suppression. This is frequently achieved by the government by unleashing fear, anguish, pains, thirst and hunger, deprivation, denial, poverty, unemployment, unjustifiable lay off and insecurity on the gullible populace to follow the “big men and women with influence in Politics” and accept their bidding in graded strata.

As we mourn and lament over those who have lost their lives in the recent Kaduna bound Rijana – Katari train tragedy and other preventable and avoidable tragedies across the length and breath of this country, may those in hospital bed consequent upon this occurrence, and other situations, not add more to the death tally.

While we grief over the dead, we thank God for those that survived and wish those on treatment to recover and recuperate in good time, without any further increase to the death toll on account of the attack.

It is the wish of well meaning Nigerians that basic expectation that all forces are mobilized to free the kidnap ones, hale and hearty.

May we stand in collective and passionate resolve for victory very soon against these heinous and  murderous elements who take pride in eliminating lives and destroying  critical infrastructure. May our homes, be truly our home.

My heart goes out to the families of all those who have lost loved ones and pray that all efforts continue until every single person is fully accounted for.
