The Ododo Support Organisation (OSO) has described the emergence of the former Auditor General for Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as the APC governorship candidate in the forthcoming Kogi State gubernatorial election, as to be in the best interest of the good people of the state.
The organisation, in a congratulatory message signed by its Director General, Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira, noted that the APC candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s emergence at the just concluded APC direct primary election in the state would mark another season of monumental development for the good people of the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Lokoja, Hon. Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira, a former House of Representatives aspirant for Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, hailed Governor Yahaya Bello for his strategic and mentorship roles in the seamless conduct and participation of all party members and party aspirants at the polls.
He noted that the Kogi APC has come a long way with remarkable statements of victory at every successive turn, and they all have owed that to the oneness of purpose entrenched in the party by Governor Bello and the collective resolution to work towards a common goal.
Engr. Adaira enjoined all aspirants who vied for the ticket to wield their best political sportsmanship and throw their full weights of support behind the gubernatorial candidate, while trusting in the blueprint of the leadership of the party, even at the national level, to create formidable party holds that will favour all and sundry, and for the overall benefits of the good people of Kogi State.
“Noting the crucial importance of grassroots politics, the organisation wishes to assure the candidate and the party of our readiness to use our statewide structure and followers in engineering a Door2Door campaigns across the nooks and crannies of the State.
“We will ensure each and every one of our members and supporters man every household across the state until every thumb presses the ballot in favour of our mandate come November, 2023.
“Ododo for Kogi 2023 is here and we must deliver this mandate as our Kogi 5th Project. We hope on the well-meaning support from different factions and groups in the party, and do count on our individual and collective contributions towards the realisation of this divine mandate.
“Accordingly, we enjoin all our supporters and party faithfuls to go about the campaigns in utmost civility, focused and issue-based.
“We should respect and value our common goal, even as we value our individual participations in this campaign,” he said.
