Obaro of Kabba Installs Musa as Head of Fulani Community

The Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Michael Olobayo, has installed Alhaji Zubairu Musa as the traditional head of the Fulani community in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

Speaking during the occasion, the Obaro described Alhaji Musa as a trusted and loyal leader who enjoys the support of the Fulani in general.

In a press statement issued by the Kabba Zonal Information Officer, Obaro stressed that the Ardo should endeavour to ensure peace among the Fulanis. He enjoined him to use his office to eradicate frequent clashes between the farmers and Fulani cattle rearers.

The Royal father also solicited the support of the entire Fulani in the area for Ardo to ensure his success in the performance of his new duties.

Alhaji Musa, speaking on the occasion, expressed his appreciation to God and the Obaro for making the installation a success. He expressed his appreciation to the Obajemu of Oweland, HRH Oba Michael Ibinaiye, the chairman of Sango, Alhaji Umaru Baba, the leader of the Yoruba Community and the chairman of the committee for cattle rearers and farmers, Chief Oloba for their unflinching financial and moral support.

He vowed to ensure peace and progress in the Fulani Community and between the people of Kabba/Bunu Community and the Fulanis, especially farmers and herdsman.

He pledged to continue to co-operate with the Obaro to ensure peace, just as he appealed to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrhaim Idris, to establish nomadic schools.
