Kogi State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has pledged to support the Omidan Oge beauty and brains contest.
The state commandant of NSCDC, Pastor Ayodele Olusola Philip made this known when the Omidan Oge crew led by Yeye Omoleye Aiyelabowo, Yeye Oge of Okunland, visited the Kogi State command in Lokoja on Thursday.
He appreciated Yeye Oge of Okunland for coming up with such a laudable initiative in her campaign against the indiscriminate pregnancy among young girls in Okunland.
The maiden edition of the Omidan Oge contest to showcase the Okun traditional attire and launch the campaign against indiscriminate pregnancy among young girls in Okunland is scheduled to hold on the 10th of August, 2019 at Kabba, Kogi state.
