Now That ÈNÈMUNÈMÈ is Dead, EBIGO is Their New Noise

I have not written about Kogi State and her government in recent time, save for pockets of comments I make on issues that calls for my attention.

This is not because the government has started doing well, but because the leadership seem to be falling deeper into the pit that they are now deaf and blind to positive reasoning, otherwise they should have known by now that agendas don’t really work with Kogi People. The only agenda that is acceptable by Kogi people is good governance agenda and nothing more.

You are in government yet you work and walk like an opposition dragging everyone to endorse you with threats and open lies as if you won’t survive it if you are denied the second term bid.

The EBIGO agenda conjured by the few followers of Yahaya Bello is dead on arrival just like the ÈNÈMUNÈMÈ slogan. People don’t eat slogans anymore, they eat food and the food is not forthcoming as a result of your no-salary policy.

I am confused how younger brains, younger people with hot blood running through their veins can not upgrade at all.

You came with ÈNÈMUNÈMÈ, people refused to buy it from you, you sold it only to your appointees and some known sycophants. It died when the Omayemime slogan popped up to counter it

You rushed to KOGI FIRST AGENDA, it did not fly because you are seen as squanders of our collective resources, you left it alone and now running from pillar to polls inventing another slogan.

What is EBIGO? Does it is signify unity? Yes the Igala, the Okun and the Ebira are united. But we are at this point united in hunger, starvation, degradation.

We are United in our trauma, frustration and depression. We are United in our agitation for a change, a change for positivity and improvements of our living standards. We are United in our resolve to send this government packing and we are used to sending incumbent governments packing and this one will not be different.

I will advise again, instead of wasting your energy and resources ‘inventing’ slogans that will end up not working for you, spent your time and thought on ideas that will help you redeem your name before you leave office in January 2020.

Pay salaries and pension, complete the few projects you embarked on and get ready to leave us in peace.

It should be seen as an insult for a younger government like ours to be a looking for endorsement up and down, even from people not from Kogi State. It shows failure and it shows the strength of the people of Kogi State against failures.

Stop this desperate moves, it won’t give you validation, EBIGO will die just like ÈNÈMUNÈMÈ.
