His terms of reference to members include working as a team to come up with ways the council can have a hitch free event and identification of individuals worthy of this year’s recognition by the body.
He also tasked them to look into the theme of this year’s event and critique its appropriateness for the purpose of adoption and/ or suggesting alternative theme peculiar to Lokoja Local Government and Kogi State at this point in time.
The committee is to be Chaired by the Local Government’s vice President, Comrade Bologi Abdullahi Yabagi who is to be assisted by the council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yabagi Mohammed.
Other members of the committee include the Director of women affairs, Hadiza Abubakar,  the Director of social welfare,  Aishat Muhammed and the financial secretary, Ahmed Danjuma Muhammed.
