The attention of Kogi Central Media Crew has again been drawn to a malicious expression of pathological hatred and unfounded allegation by the defeated Senatorial Candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi Central, Ms Natasha Akpoti against the highly respected former President of Customary Court of Appeal, Abuja alleging that the highly revered Elder Statesman is plotting to sabotage her efforts at the tribunal.
We would have ignored the said allegation but for the unsuspecting members of the public and our esteemed followers, we need set the record straight.
We are constraint to say that the self acclaimed revolutionist has lost touch with realities after she had acted so many scripts in deception to seek cheap public attention that couldn’t resist the hurricane of electoral defeat at the just concluded National Assembly elections.
She now hops from one Media house to another displaying her total ignorance and lack of proper understanding of electoral laws.
Madam, another reality show awaits you at the Tribunals after your series of drama on TV. In the meantime, we shall not dignify you with response anymore.
The election that gives mandate to the Candidate of the ruling APC, now Senator Elect, Alh. Yakubu Oseni with a wide margin clearly shows that, the masses have spoken and had wisely chosen whom to represent them at the Red Chamber through their Permanent Voters Card.
It’s laughable as the Candidate of the defeated SDP, Ms Natasha Akpoti who supposed to swallow her pride and concede defeat to have hatched and come up with another ploy to demean the person of His Lordship, Hon. Justice Moses Bello (Rtd).
From our understanding, this fruitless exercise was not unconnected with the fact that the steel lady couldn’t place a tenable evidence backing her claims, and as a result, she embarked on the same style of campaign of calumny and malicious attacks on the Governor and ruling APC. This unpopular strategy landed her in a state of shock haven been defeated beyond her imaginations.
As the steel lady is boasting of challenging the outcome of the election at the court, we urged her to go ahead as it’s her right to seek redress.
However, why is she so curious of knowing what transpired between Hon. Justice Moses Bello and His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello? Well, if she must know, the visit was to congratulate the Governor on the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and of course convey the people’s appreciation to him for his immense support that saw all APC Candidates from Kogi Central victorious in the last National Assembly elections.
Finally, we wish to state emphatically that, the allegation have no iota of truth, it is a figment of the writer’s imagination, hence, should be discarded as the duo are men of impeccable characters whose entire lives were built on integrity and honesty, therefore, have no hands in dirty dealings.
