Kogi born gospel music prodigy, Melody Dayo has finally launched the long awaited Glory album in grand style.
The album launch was done during a two -days event has the first day marked with songs of praise and worship from different artistes, before the album was dedicated and unveiled by Pastor Olayemi, the zonal pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Shekinah Parish Kabba where Melody worship.
Shortly after the Glory album was unveiled, Melody performed the theme track ‘Glory’; a track he said was ministered to him by the Holy spirit and which reminded him of his past and where he is now.
Also, an award of honour by the Divine Melody makers band was presented to Mrs. Ibironke Adeyemi as the matron of the band.
Dayo described the awardee as his best fan.
Mrs Adeyemi in her response said the award was a surprise to her. She described Melody as a young man who love what he does and he is good at it. She said his humility with the way he’s passionate about his career made her fall in love with him. The awardee then dedicate the award to God, her husband and children.
The apex of the Glory album launch was the second day tagged Ekinrin Adde Entertainment Night where different artistes from within Ekinrin Adde and around Kogi state came to celebrate with Melody.
The chief host of the Ekinrin Adde entertainment night, H.R.H. Oba Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu, the Olu adde of Ekinrin adde who came in company of some elites of Ekinrin Adde commended Melody Dayo for the courage to stage such an event in his home town Ekinrin Adde.
The Kabiyesi gave his Royal blessing on the Glory album and to cap it all, adopted the Ekinrin adde entertainment night to be celebrated every 24th December as part of his annual thanks giving.
The GLORY ALBUM is the second album from Melody Dayo and his divine Melody makers band after the first album titled ELEVATION at the official inauguration of the band.
Dayo and his band have performed in different occasions both within and outside kogi state.
Single track to his credit are Ona Tila, Most High God, Nigeria and now The Glory album.
Melody Dayo promises to make the Glory album available on major online stores for his fans worldwide to download.
