Arising issues of Human Rights abuses, detention of close associates of suspects,and unrelenting persecution of the people of Kogi State must end.
The Nigerian Police hierarchy as presently composed should charge the remaining associates of Senator Dino Melaye in their custody to court forthwith. The conspiratory silence of the Nigerian police Authorities after the failed attempt to hoodwink Senator Dino to a life threatening expedition to Prison is an admittance of guilt.
Most brazenly, the “get him at all cost “tactics of the Police can only buttress the argument of Nigerians that the IGP and his willing men on the field are out to carry out a hatchet job.
The question remains, who is afraid of Senator Dino? Nigerians know them.
We call on the Inspector General of the Police to release Sen. Dino associates without further delay, or charge them to court.
In the event that the Police Authorities fail to heed our advise, we shall take all legitimate action to seek immediate redress.
