The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Youth Empowerment, Sports and Student’s Affairs, Comrade M.D. Eseyin has been named the “Special Adviser of the Year in Nigeria”.
This award was conferred on him by Triple A Entertainment, the organizers of Miss Kogi Beauty Pageant, at Kafas Hall, Lokoja, Kogi State, the venue for the just concluded 2017 Miss Kogi Beauty pageant.
The organizer of the pageant, while conferring the award to the Special Adviser, posited that the rationale behind the award was in recognition of MD Eseyin’s proactive and productive efforts in the areas of youth empowerment and development in the state.
Eseyin was described as a man who uncovers and brings out the hidden and undiscovered valuable potentials of youths in the state.
The Special Adviser thanked the organizers for the award and stated that the honour will encourage him to put in more efforts to ensuring that Kogi youths are well catered for by being encouraged with empowerment opportunities.
He dedicated the award to God Almighty, and Governor Yahaya Bello for giving him opportunity to showcase his potential. He gave special appreciation to Chief Edward Onoja who has always reposed huge amount of believe and confidence in him and the entire youth of Kogi State.
Eseyin admonished youths on patriotism and believe in the present government.
“Progress is tied to unity and unity champions great achievements. Thus, youths must be cooperative enough. To the ‘Triple A Entertainment’ who have honored me with this award, I want to promise you that I will not relent in doing justice to the good work I am known for just as you have justified by the virtue of the award you have conferred on me,” Eseyin pledged.
