Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Security Matters in Yagba East local government council, Hon. Abdulwakil Olorunjuwon Sule, has described workers as the ladder through which economy of any nation grow.
In a statement issued on Friday in Isanlu, Sule commended workers in Yagba East local government council for their resilience and hard work.
He stated that the workers are the true heroes of the council.
The security chief commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and his team for ensuring worker welfare are attended to with dispatch.
“As heaven is a blessing to living things, workers are blessings to every nation, my local government inclusive,” he said.
He called on workers to stay safe and maintain high personal hygiene as the world battles the COVID-19 pandemic.
He prayed that the labour of workers will not be in vain but urged them to work to justify their pay.
