The new Hasken Failat of Kogi state (HFK) of the Tijanniya movement, Alhaji Mohammed Shakur Yunusa has congratulated Muslem faithfuls on the commemoration of this year’s Maulud Nabiyi, the birth of Prophet Mohammed(SAW).
Hasken Failat Kogi state made this known in a statement issued on Friday.
He enjoined the people of the state to emulate the virtues of the holy prophet and practices of Sheik Ibrahim Nyass, the protagonist of the Tijanniya movement worldwide.
Alhaji Shakur advised the people of the state to maintain peace, brotherliness and unity in all their doings particularly build up to this month’s election governorship in the state.
The Islamic leader prayed for the peaceful political transition in Kogi state and urged Nigerians to remian supportive of current leaders in the country.
He noted that no state or nation thrive under an atmosphere of rancour and crises, saying Kogi state and Nigeria need prayers and supplications to move forward.
