Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari on Tuesday condoled with Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on the death of his mother, Hajiya Hauwau Oziohu Bello.
A statement signed by the Director-General on Media, to the Governor, Abdu Malumfashi, stated that the death of a mother was one of the most painful losses that could be endured, especially at a time when her love, guidance and counsel were most needed.
Masari urged Governor Bello to take consolation in the fact that death was an inevitable end for all living creatures, as decreed by the Creator, Allah (SWT).
Masari also urged his Kogi State counterpart to take consolation in the fact that his mother had died a fulfilled life, having witnessed his emergence as a very successful businessman and politician who became a governor in her lifetime.
The Katsina State Governor also prayed Allah (SWT), to forgive the deceased all her sins and other shortcomings, and make paradise her final resting place, and also give the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss of their matriarch.
