The suit filed by the member representing Igalamelamela Odolu constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Friday Sanni Makama against the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya bello and the entire House of the state sixth Assembly over his suspension has been transferred from the state high court sitting in Idah to another competent court of jurisdiction.
This is sequel to an appeal made by the counsel to the state government BD Kadiri before justice Fola Ajayi of the state high Court sitting in idah citing security reasons.
Before and during the court proceedings, heavily armed security men comprising the Nigeria police, military, Nigeria security and civil Defence Corp barricaded the court premises.
Every individual entering the court premises is subjected to a thorough stop and search before gaining access to the court.
It was gathered by our correspondent that the management of the court are not behind the security men who flooded the court premises.
But counsel to the plaintiff barrister Promise Ogbadu described the transfer of the suit to another court away from Idah as strange, weird and curious.
According to Ogbadu, he was not aware that the defendant applied for transfer of the case noting that no copy was submitted to him before the days hearing commenced.
He also argued before the judge that the court  should be the one complaining of not being secured and not the defendant adding that it is an antics by the defendant to manipulate justice.
But the presiding judge, Justice Fola Ajayi however after listening to the plaintiff and the defendant acknowledged the directive from the state chief judge, Justice Nasiru Ajana for the Case to be transferred to another competent court of jurisdiction in the state.
Speaking shortly after the ruling,  the member representing Igalamela Odolu constituency honorable Friday Sanni alleged that, the transfer of the case was masterminded by the executive noting that he still have confidence in the judiciary and will reclaim the mandate given to him by the people of his constituency.
