It is very disappointing in communities where we have leaders representing the people at the Local, State and Federal levels folded their arms and watch damages, decadence, poverty, joblessness, poor infrastructures in the communities.
The ongoing maintenance of Nagazi-Ogaminana Federal Road in Ebiraland by Federa Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) is a good development because the road was really bad to the extent of turning into deadly gullies. At least, they have done well for coming to our rescue after several requests from various concerned individuals in ebiraland and FERMA patrol officials for urgent maintenance of Nagazi-Ogaminana Federal Road.
Contrary to the above, my question begging for an answer is about the deplorable state of Ajaokuta Local Government Area in Kogi Central. To sum-up the whole factors affecting Ajaokuta LGA in summary, i will only direct my point on the neglected bad road between Ajaokuta and Okene Axis. Ajaokuta – Okene particularly from Ebiya down to Ajaokuta and most especially between Patesi -Adogo – Unosi is in a state of bad condition. So many deadly pot holes and gullies are found on the road.
Surprisingly, all the leaders in that zone drives thru this very bad road to their houses whenever they visit their home town even the Chairman of the Local Government join the bandwagon of cruel leadership with total neglect of community development and youth empowerment.
Leaders in Ajaokuta LGA representing the people from Local, State to Federal levels should call on FERMA for urgent maintenance of AJAOKUTA – OKENE Federal Road.
Good Leadership is not measured by how rich you are, it is measured by your high Performance, impact on the people, Problem solving, growth of the people and trust.
