The commander, Kogi State chapter of the Macedonia Ambassadors Chaplain Corps, Commander General Keddy Balogun has called on Nigerians to always trust and give thanks to God in any situation they found themselves.
Commander Balogun made the call during the organization’s end of year party held at Salem Foundation Church Lokoja, the kogi State capital recently.
According to him, the year 2020 has been a turbulent year that was full of negative surprises ranging from the outbreak of Covid-19, insurgency, #EndSARS, poverty and many crises but to the glory of God, many were not affected.
He said being alive to take part in the organisation maiden 2020 thanksgiving programme to mark the successful end of the year is a miracle praying that God would make the year 2021 a year of recovery for Nigerians.
Commander General Balogun thanked all the guests and members of the chaplain corps for their efforts in making the event a successful one while urging the awardees to see the award as additional responsibility because many would be looking up to them henceforth.
He then urged all companies to do well in the coming year and act more according to their names.
The recipients of the award, Pst. Henry Asarapo, S.P. Adah Williams Acheneje, Prof. Noah Yakubu, Mr. Hussein Isah Angel, Pst. Akinola Julius, Mr. Yusuf Adams, and Hon. Jephthah Peters all expressed joy and gratitude for being chosen as awardees. An award of the best company of the year was then given to the tiger company.
In a goodwill message, Prophet A.A Felix, the general overseer of Solution Bible Church, welcomed and thanked everyone for coming, and prayed God to bestow on the Chaplain Corps the grace to carry the association to the highest height.
In his vote of thanks, Pastor Julius thanked the organisers and everyone for making the day and prayed for God’s blessings as go back to their various destination.
