The State government, yesterday, announced that Lokoja that St. Luke Primary School, Adankolo has been set aside as a temporary camp for residents affected by the unprecedented flood.
While making a public announcement yesterday, government directed that affected persons from Ganaja, Adankolo and Badawa should move to the temporary camp as government makes frantic effort to proffer solutions to the flood menace.
According an official of National Inlnad Waterways Authority (NIWA), the present flood challenge was last witnessed in the 1930s.
The flood has caused unimaginable pains and losses.
