Towards boosting the study of Information Communication Technology (ICTs) in schools, the member representing Kabba Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Hon Tajudeen Yusuf has donated twenty five sets of computers to Moslem Community Secondary School, Lokoja.
Similarly, the lawmaker has equally powered two clinical wards at the Federal Medical Centre Lokoja with solar power.
In a telephone chat with newsmen after making the donations, Hon. Yusuf says he is working towards building a computer laboratory for Moslem Community Secondary School, Lokoja.
He described the gesture as one borne out of the need to empower the next generation of leaders with IT skills.
The lawmaker who is presently seeking to represent the West Senatorial District of Kogi State at the upper chamber of the National Assembly added that the solar powered Wards at the FMC Lokoja would provide comfort to patients and enhance the workings of health personnel.
Hon Yusuf described Lokoja as strategic and thus need the support of all and sundry in the improvement of facilities, without necessarily leaving it in the hands of government.
