The people of Lokoja-Kogi federal constituency have been told to ignore the antics of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in the state as it is presently trying to use money as a bait.
In a statement signed by the spokesman of Mohammed Mabo Kassim campaign organization, Sani Usman, the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) described the desperate plan to win at all cost as unhealthy.
He said the bye election is about service, quality representation and not about vote buying as the APC plans to do.
He urged the people to vote their conscience pointing out that if elected, Hon. Mohammed Mabo Kassim has the capacity to offer quality representation.
He urged INEC and security agencies to ensure the sanctity of the peoples vote in the forthcoming bye election, pointing out that an enabling environment should be created for a peaceful conduct of the polls.
Sani described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Hon. Mohammed Mabo Kassim as the candidate to beat as he is the “most acceptable, credible, grassroots oriented and ready to offer people oriented representation.”
