There is a strong indication that the Kogi State governor, Captain Idris Wada, will soon submit the list of commissioners to the state House of Assembly.
The Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Mr Jacob Edi, disclosed this to newsmen on Sunday.
He said the painstaking effort put into the selection of those who would assist the governor in building the state was what appeared to be responsible for the delay.
“The people must appreciate that making such selection demands a high level of methodological approach, to among other things, ensure equity and balance. But the people of the state will be the better for it.
“Wada is, however, in total control and is in firm grip. No one should be deceived about this. He is no one’s lackey,” he said.
