A non-governmental organization, Lifecare Support Foundation has register 20 eligible students for 2022 West African Examination Council (WAEC) in the central senatorial district of Kogi state.

A member of the foundation, Yoonos Oosman disclosed that benefiting students are orphans and less privileged who were carefully selected from across seven secondary schools in Ebira land and were registered.

He said members of the NGO were pleased to have contributed to the humanitarian task and pledged to continue to participate and support the less privileged in the society.

Yoonos had reached out to Mr Abdulhamid Omeiza Aminu (AA Okene) sequel to the publications from Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) and  National Association of Ebira Students (NAES) on the low registration of students for WAEC examinations.

The NGO swung into action after getting feedback that the reported low registration was as a result of the biting economic situation as most of the parents could not afford to register their children.

Schools visited were; Community Secondary School Obangede, Okehi Community Secondary School Uboro, Okehi Community Secondary School Eika-Ohizenyi, Demonstration College Onyukoko, UBE Community Secondary School Etahi, Adavi Local Government Science Secondary School Enyidudu and Ideal College for Orphanage and Less Privileged Agassa.
