The Alamuro of Amuro Land, HRM Oba Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon, has congratulated Hon Ademola Bello-Destiny and his Vice, Joy Dalumo, on their victory in Local government Chairmanship election on Saturday.
The Chairman Of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), Mamman Nda Eri, on Saturday declared the results of the October 19th local government elections held in the State.
Declaring the results at the State headquarters of the Commission, the chairman said the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in all the 21 local government Chairmanship seats.
The Alamuro in his congratulatory message made available to journalists on Sunday in Lokoja, congratulated the Chairman all the elected councilors across the 10 Wards in Mopamuro.
“To the newly elected Chairman and Councilors of Mopamuro Local Government Area, I say congratulations on your resounding victory.
“On behalf of the Alamuro and Amuro Traditional Council, I extend warm congratulations to you on your well-deserved victory in the Local Government Chairmanship and Councilorsship election.
“May your tenure bring peace, prosperity, and development to our people. May your leadership be guided by wisdom, justice, and fairness.
“Your victory is a testament to your dedication and commitment to our community.
