Deputy governor of Kogi State, Yomi Awoniyi has promised that the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) will win all the chairmanship and councillorship election in the 21 local government of the state in the forthcoming council election.
The state deputy governor Yomi Awoniyi, made this known in Ayingba at the flag off of campaign for the May 4 2013 council election.
Awoniyi said the giant strides witnessed by the state under the Idris Wada’s administration within the last one year has made the forthcoming election a walk over for the party.
He described Kogi as a PDP State and a no go area for the opposition parties in the council poll.
Earlier, the state chairman of the PDP Alhaji Hassan Salawu PDP urged its members to turn out en mass to vote the PDP for more gains of democracy.
Vice Chairman, Kogi East senatorial district Shaidu Odoma, said in spite of the presence of opposition candidates, the party will deliver a hundred percent in the district.
