A remarkable improvement has been noticed in Ajaokuta primary education since the time the Education Secretaries were swapped across the state.
We wish to commend the effort of Mr Albert, the present Education Secretary of Ajaokuta Local Government Education Authority for his effort towards improving standard of primary education in the area.
The rate of punctuality of teachers to their work place presently was last noticed during the time of Late Hon. Ayo Bamidele (may his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace). In this present time staff working in the ZEB Office, Adogo cannot close from until after 4pm. All The classroom teacher resumed and closed at The stipulated time which they have not been adhering to.
Office activities is now in normal shape. This morning while we are moving round the schools in Eganyi at about 8:30am all the teachers are in their respective classroom teaching the available pupils. The parents are very happy because it has been the traditions that unless after three or four weeks of resumption from vacation no teacher can be seen in the class room but now the story is different.
We therefore appreciate the effort of the present ES for his effort to correct all abnormalities laid by the transferred ES, Mr Salihu Otupi. We also commend the state government and Kogi SUBEB for the swapping because it really assist a lot and we pleading to the state government to sustain this swapping for over a long period of time.
We also plead with Kogi SUBEB to direct the Education secretary of Ajaokuta LGEA to revisit those professional teachers who were sacked and were replaced with non-professionals by the then ignoramous Education secretary, Mr Salihu Otupi due to his naive and sentimental attitude as the non-profesional teachers outway the numbers of profesional teachers.
