The member representing Okene 1 state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, has extended his condolences to the family of Rt. Hon. Buba Umar Jibril who died in the early hour of today.
Buba, a former Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, is a third-term member of the lower chamber of the National Assembly. Who represents Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency died in the early hours of Friday after a brief illness in a private hospital.
Lawi, in his condolence message through his media aide, Comrade Danfulani Lukman described the death of the National Assembly member as sudden and shocking.
Lawi who prayed for the repose of Rt. Hon. Buba Umar Jibril’s soul, extended his “profound condolence to the immediate family, members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi, Lokoja/Kogi constituents and the people of Kogi State.”
Lawi urged the Speaker, members of the National Assembly and family of Buba Jibril to take with equanimity the loss of an elder statesman, describing death as an inevitable end for everybody.
