A beam of hope was set for  Suleiman Iliyasu, a shortlisted candidate for admission to the Nigerian Law School on 18 January, 2019, when all hope seems lost as regard his long awaited dream of becoming a legal practitioner.

From records and due to the Honourable commissioner’s quiet personality, Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba, has paid the fees of about 3 other shortlisted candidates of the Nigerian Law School unnoticed. These candidates hailing from various parts of Kogi State, are indigent Kogites who could not afford the fees for admission into the said institution.

It is pertinent to note again, that Hon. Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba did not put into consideration the tribal differences of the candidates when he volunteered to sponsor the candidates. This is a lesson for compatriots to learn and hold onto.

In the wise word of sir Walter Scott “Teach self-denial and make its practice pleasure, and you can create for the world a destiny more sublime that ever issued from the brain of the wildest dreamer”. As followers of the new direction agenda, we have no doubt in our minds that Hon. Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba has taken the words of Walter Scott to heart and same has been replicated in the new direction print.

As of fact, while Suleiman Iliyasu, a beneficiary, was all joy to the admiration of many, others testified to same kind gesture extended by the Hon. Commissioner.

In his words, Suleiman Iliyasu stated that; he has already giving up all hope concerning his admission to the Nigerian Law School, but same hope was revived by Hon. Barr. Kehinde Oloruntoba.

A feat has been set by the new direction team and yet to be challenged.
