Wada, the executive Governor of Kogi state, our PDP National Ex-Officio, Prince Aliyu Obaje, the entire Igala Kingdom, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, The Kogi traditional Ruling Council and the entire people of Kogi state on the demise of our traditional Icon, earliest administrative guru, opinion molder and elderstateman, the longest serving first class traditional ruler in Nigeria and Chancellor of the Moshood Abiola University(University of Lagos ), the Chairman Kogi traditional ruling council and the Attah of Igala land, His Royal Majesty, Alh(Dr) Aliyu Obaje(gaaba idu).
He was a bridge between the colonial era and the nigeria of today, an experienced and erudite leader, a man indoctrinated with the act of civil administration and rudiment of traditional institution, we feel the great loss and vacuum created by your demise but we are consoled by the saying that “The mystery behind live and death is only known to him that have experienced it” you know better than we do.
We will miss your wise counsel, quality leadership and intellectual sagacity. May your brilliant and humble soul rest in the bosom of the almighty God.
