Kogi State University Management Committee (UMC), has constituted a Committee on Part-Time programmes with Dr. Sanni Momoh, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) as Chairman.
Ogiri Cosmos confirming a memorandum signed by the Registrar said the appointment was on the directive of the Vice Chancellor.
Other members of the Committee are: Director, Academic Planning; University Librarian; Director, KSU Business School; Director, Centre for Pre-Degree and Diploma Studie; Director, General Studies; Deans of Faculties; Chief Accountant (Bursary); Director SERVICOM; and PAR (Academic Planning) who is also to serve as Secretary to the
Committee.
The terms of Reference of the Committee include: to work out a workable template for effective take off of part time programmes in the University; to recommend policy to the University Management for the proper functioning of programmes to be included in the part-time; to advise the University Management of take-off period and location of
the programme and any related assignment that may be referred to it by the Vice Chancellor.
