KSU Alumni Association Elects New National Executive

A new national executive has been elected into the Kogi State University Alumni Association.

The new executive who are expected to pilot the affairs of the association in the next three years are Mallam Ibraheems Yahaya, National President; Alilu Sani Ibrahim, Vice President; Okeme Y. Okeme, Secretary General; Onalo Yunusa, Assistant Secretary General.

Others are Odidi Rebecca, Treasurer; Helen Ahmodu, Women Leader; Joshua Akor, Welfare officer and Barrister Maikudi Muhammed, Legal Adviser.

Mallam Yahaya and the other executives were elected on Saturday at the association 13th Annual general meeting, public lecture and election of the association held in Okene, Kogi State.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of other executive, the newly elected National President, Kogi State University Alumni Association Mallam Ibraheems Yahaya while thanking the delegates for their show of love promised to take the association to an enviable height.

He called on aggrieved members in the association to put behind them their differences, adding that it is time for them to unite towards building a better Kogi State University.

The election which was presided by the chairman, electoral committee, Barrister Ahmed Muhammed had in attendance delegates from Kogi, Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Kwara and Niger States.

The new executive will serve from October 2021 to 2024.
