Kogi State prison authorities said on Monday that nine of the 147 inmates that escaped following a Sunday night attack on the Koton-karfe federal medium security prison have been rearrested.
The prison was attacked by suspected Boko Haram members, who reportedly set all the inmates free.
Sources said one inmate was killed in the ensuing melee.
