A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Hon. Musa Muhammed Adamana has said that no amount of blackmail and coalition would frustrate the continuation of President Muhammadu Buhari in office in the next dispensation.
Adamana, who is contesting for the state assembly seat in the coming general elections, said President Buhari has achieved a lot in the last forty months in the saddle, adding that he remained the viable option that would take the country to the next level.
The APC stalwart who aspires to represent Kogi/ Koton-Karfe state constituency, stated these in an interview with newsmen in Lokoja, shortly after picking his nomination form, expressed confidence that President Buhari and the APC would overwhelmingly win the coming polls.
He pointed out the APC led government has made tremendous progress in the fights against corruption, insurgency, agricultural revolution, construction of roads network across the country as well as restoration of sanity in the way we do things, as some of the laudable achievements recorded by the present administration.
Adamana further stressed the need for Nigerians to give Mr. President the required support and cooperation to enable him to fully restore the lost glory of the country, stressing that the change mantra of the APC led government was aimed at repositioning the country and put it on sound economic pedestals.
He said if given the mandate, he would use his wealth of experience and and exposure to work assiduously for the people of his constituency, assuring that youths and women would be carried along in the scheme of things.
The aspirant commended Governor Yahaya Bello and the leadership of the APC in the state for providing a level playing ground for all the contestants, even as he enjoined all supporters and loyalists to continue to be law abiding, describing the party as one big family in the state.
