Kolawole Meets Bunu Obas, Solicits Support for APC

Kogi State Acting Governor and member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, Rt.Hon. Matthew Kolawole on Wednesday met with traditional rulers across Bunu land where he solicited their support for the APC in the forth general elections in February and March, 2019.
In a press statement signed by Kolawole’s media aide, Olorunsuwa Elija, the acting Governor took time to enumerate his numerous achievements and efforts at ensuring rapid development of Bunu district.
He pointed out that the Ayede – Olle – Igbo electrification projects was one of the projects that have direct bearing on the people.
He hinted the Kabiyesis of a bill which  has compelled the State government to take over the grading and maintain of Iluke-Ihale Taki road which was formerly under the local government. He further informed the gathering about  his motion on the floor of the House for the upgrade of the health care center in Ike to a Cottage Hospital.
The acting Governor said the over 3 million naira donation for the completion of Ayede-Olle-Igbo electricity project, construction of Cottage Hospital in Ayede, renovation of several boreholes and sinking of over 7 new boreholes across Bunu land were parts of his achievements in the area.
He requested them to continue to support the governor and APC stating that, the APC led government has provided enormous benefits and dividends of democracy to Bunu people.
He encouraged them to continue to mobilise support for the government.
The Obaro of Olle who spoke on behalf of his colleagues thanked the Acting Governor for his various activities towards the development of the constituency but urged him to do more as there is always room to do more.
The Olubunu of Bunu HRM Oba J. A. Ikusemoro prayed for the Acting Governor and Governor Yahaya Bello.
