Prince Matthew Kolawole, member representing Kabba /Bunu State Constituency and Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly has donated vehicles to the ruling All Progress Congress (APC), Kabba/Bunu chapter and one of his loyalists, Tolani.
Presenting the vehicles to the beneficiaries in Kabba, the Speaker said he decided to give the vehicle to the party in order to support the party in the area of mobility especially the executive members, as that will enhance their productivity.
He charged the chairman, Hon Olorunmosule Medusa to make judicious use of the vehicle, noting that APC as a party in the Local Government should be stronger.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello who is the leader of the party in the state for his initiative to set up reconciliatory committees that will reconcile all aggrieved members in the party, noting that the vehicle will go a long way to assist the party to move around the local government easily.
Responding, the Chairman of APC, Kabba /Bunu, Hon Olorunmosule Medusa thanked and appreciated the Speaker for the kind gesture, promising to make judicious use of the vehicle.
He said since the Speaker came on board, the party in the local government has not remained the same, urging other political appointees to emulate the Speaker.
In a related development, the Speaker presented another vehicle to one of his loyalists, Mr. Omololu Tolani to compensate him for his support and reward his loyalty.
According to him, the beneficiary has really demonstrate absolute loyalty to his political ambition using his personal car to move musical equipment during the 2015 electioneering campaigns.
He charged other loyalists to be patient with him, promising that he will make sure he reach out to as many as possible within the shortest time.
Mr. Omololu Tolani who was highly elated appreciated the kind gesture of the Speaker and promised to continue supporting his political ambition.
According to him, he never expected such gift at this time, stressing that Kolawole is truly a leader that want his followers to grow.
