#KogiGovRace: Yahaya Bello Get Delegates Support

The governorship ambition of Alhaji Yahaya Bello received a big boost as  delegates and party leaders in Kogi state assured him their support to occupy the Lugard house in January, 2016.

Bello an aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) told newsmen in Okene that his visit to delegates in three local government areas in Okene, Adavi and Okehi, has guaranteed him total support for his ambition.

“As at today I enjoyed the support of majority of our leaders from across the state. Majority of the delegates are also with me. I have no fear at all that Gods willing victory will be mine” he maintained

While regretting the dwindling fortunes of Agriculture, education, infrastructure among others in the state, he assured the people that his administration if giving the opportunity will address this problems with the urgency it requires.

According to him, since agriculture is one of the major employers of labour, he intends to develop the sector as a business concern with a multiplier of wealth creation, employment generation with the right investment and environment.

He assured that Youths and women development will be top on his priority, even as he said youths restiveness will become history through constructive engagement of the younger ones.

Bello called on delegate to be tired of politicians who comes once every four years to make empty promises, urging them to allow their votes to count in the August 29th governorship primary of the APC.

“You must allow your votes to count in the August 29 governorship primary election of our party. Don’t sell your votes to the highest bidder. You have the power to effect a generational change through your votes” he said.
