The All Progressive Congress (APC), deputy gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming Kogi governorship election Hon. Abiodun Faleke on Saturday declared boastfully that the APC will outspend the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and buy up every voter in the state.
Faleke who made the remarks while declaring open a campaign office in Kabba on Saturday noted that the PDP is broke and has nothing to offer the people of Kogi State. “They have ran out of money. They are running up and down now for bailout, they are broke and we will show them that we have the money to kick them out of government house. We will show them we have the money. PDP is finished, we will spend them out and sweep them out of this town. You will see”, Faleke declared incoherently and boastfully.

Hon. Faleke is a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency of Lagos State. He emerged the running mate to the governorship candidate of the APC for the November 21 governorship election in Kogi State, Alhaji Abubakar Audu, under controversial circumstances.
Though an indigene of Kogi State, he has always played his politics in Lagos. He was a two term chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area and a second term member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos. During his time as a council boss in Lagos, Abiodun Faleke was the chairman of Forum 57, a forum of LGA and LCDA bosses in Lagos State.
Aside his prominence in the politics of Lagos State, Faleke is believed to be one of the trusted loyalists of the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
