“But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!” – NLT 20:9″

If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father (Federal government), the mother (state government) and the teacher (Local government)”-A. P. J. Abdul KalamI,

for one, have decided to rest my pen as regards the unfortunate ascension of Prince Audu as the APC flag bearer for the 2015 kogi State guber elections  because it seems men of the world have blinded eyes and deafened ears  to divine warning. I grow anger today  not for anything but  because I fear  for the integrity of APC that have been stained and fast waxing away like a candle burning with the contaminated Audu.

For this, I wish to send a message to Mr president , His excellency Muhammadu Buhari.“when Mr Integrity begins to rub hands with a corrupt figure  then a page of hypocrisy is flipped.”

APC is  a party whose success to the top of leadership was solely hinged on their stand against corruption and slogan of change from everything the previous (mal)administration have represented.

The President has reiterated this commitment many time in his speeches which gives an ordinary Nigerians the feeling that this self serving corruption personified leaders would never come close to our treasury or leadership anymore. But it now beats to hollow and makes petty our expectations to see a celebrated corrupt figure in the State cling the APC ticket.

On 20th of September, 2015, APC started their screening on aspirants’ eligibility and worthiness but it amazes our conscience how Prince Audu Abubakar who is found wanting for corrupt charges and money laundering by EFCC would have scaled through the wire against the odds.

I weep for the liberty of my state when Prince Audu Abubakar emerge as  APC Candidate which mean corruption has been imputed to many members of, and the rights of the people have been bartered for promises of office.

It sparks of hypocrisy and insincerity.  And this is totally unacceptable! You don’t go to equity with stained hands. The party should know this. Its integrity and that of the presidency and perhaps its acclaimed war against corruption would be called to question.

If a country is to be certified corruption free and placed in the league of sane  nations , I strongly feel there are three vital societal elements that must be highlighted in bold. They are;
The father (Federal government),
The mother (state government) and
The teacher (Local government).

Committing responsibility of a State to a corrupt man is a disaster and a stain to what APC and the presidency stands for. I hereby call on the President, Muhammadu Buhari to look into this matter least this would be a shot in the foot. Corruption is the enemy of development and of good governance. It must be rid of and both the government and the people at large must come together to achieve this national objective.

And We can only work with a man who’s hand is clean to pursue this national objective of liberating kogi state from the claws of bad governance.

The fight for justice against corruption has never been easy. And will never be. It exacts a toll on our self, our families, our friends, and especially our children. In the end, I believe, as in my case, the price we pay is well worth holding on to our dignity.-Frank Serpico

Money and corruption are ruining the state, crooked politicians betray the working man in the state, pocketing the profits and treating us like sheep, and we’re tired of hearing promises that we know they’ll never keep.

The good people of Kogi State will always protest against the imposition of Audu, a tribal champion whose name is synonymous to corruption. Our state is still suffering  from the decay meted by he and his cronies. Kogi state cannot afford to go back to the era of arrogant governance and misappropriation of funds

“Show me a righteous ruler I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked, criminal and corrupt leaders and I will show you a miserable people” prov.29:2.

If by any omission or commission  Prince Audu Abubakar become the governor of Kogi state expect the unexpected. For Kogi state deserves the best, the fittest and man who’s hand is cleared from stain to assume the mantle of its leadership and not criminal. Therefor, We say no to Abubakar Audu and advice he go attend to his corruption case with the EFCC.

Until he clears himself of the case, he has no moral right to present himself for an election. This administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has declared war against corruption. We, the concern citizens of Kogi State are in support of the President’s anti-corruption move because the level of corruption and injustice in the state is high and Audu was the genesis.

We want to toe the line of the APC change mantra and we would not support Audu because of his alleged corruption cases.”

May God Flush The Enemy Of Kogi State And Set His People Free from government oppression In Jesus  Amen.
