#KogiGovRace: Awoniyi Task Electorates on the Need to Vote Wada

Electorates in Kogi State have been asked to allow the humane
disposition of Capt Idris Wada, his commitment to the welfare of
workers, amidst scarce resources, inform their judgment in the next
governorship poll.

Yomi Awoniyi, Kogi State Deputy Governor, stated this in Kabba, Kabba
– Bunu Local Government Area, while on a consultative visit to PDP critical stakeholders and leaders.

While noting that the last three and half years was challenging owing to decline in resources,
through prudent use of scarce resources, Capt Idris Wada, Awoniyi
explained has however kept fate with meeting the responsibilities of workers,
pensioners as well improving basic infrastructures across the State
within limited resources.

Awoniyi said another term in office for Capt Idris Wada, would enable
him consolidate on the success made by the administration, commended
the PDP and people of Kabba – Bunu for their support to the
administration.

The Deputy Governor, acknowledged that there is so much work that needs
to be done, assured that government is concern about the completion of
Kabba township roads as well as meeting most of the legitimate demands
of the people.

The Deputy Governor, urged people of the area to remain committed to
the people, acknowledging that Kabba – Bunu LGA has since 1998, remained a PDP
stronghold.

In their separate remarks, Dr Stephen Olorunfemi and Hon. Tajudeen
Yusuf, said the area has resolved to work for the success of the Capt
Wada’s administration and the victory of the PDP in the forth coming
governorship election.

Earlier in a welcome remark, Segun Ogbonikan SSA1, Kabba – Bunu, Local
Government Area, described the Wada’s administration as one that has the interest of the people at heart, appealed for the completion of
the on-going Kabba and other township roads as well as infrastructures
and empowerment programme for women and the youths that will have
direct impact on the lives of the people.
