President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday called for a possible delay in the flag off of the Governorship Campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress in kogi state until he returns from India. This we learnt is to enable him attend the rally to shore support for his party and candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu.

The President made the call yesterday from Delhi, India to the national chairman of the party Chief John Oyegun at the time the party’s governors were meeting in Bauchi with Prince Abubakar Audu where they declared their total support for him.

But Oyegun was said to have pleaded with the president to allow the flag off to take place on the schedule date, since there is no enough time before the election, he said instead the Vice President and all the governors elected on the party’s platform should lead the rally on Saturday, 31 oct.
