A former Chairman, Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, Chief Kehinde Asalu has described senatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), for Kogi West Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi as the preferred alternative for the National Assembly top job.
Asalu made this known when the campaign train of Omoluabi visited Egbe in Yagba West local government area of Kogi State.
He described Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi as an energetic, resourceful and sound young man who has what it takes to pilot the affairs of Kogi West.
“I am very happy today because this young man has shown to us that we now have alternative to the old order that have brought hardship to the people,” he said.
Chief Asalu assured Omoluabi of the support of Egbe and entire Yagba land in the coming election.
He said the people of Kogi West are desirous of a new wine in a new bottle.
Speaking in the same direction, Kogi West ADC Chairman, Hon Kingsley Ogga said Yagbaland have endorsed ADC and all the candidates of the party. He assured Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi of the winning votes in entire Yagba land.
Omoluabi thanked the elder-statesman for his sacrifice and meritorious service to Kogi state and Okunland in particular.
He asked the people of Egbe Community to keep faith with African Democratic Congress as the party has now emerged as the credible alternative.
