Impressed by the brilliant performance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Kogi West Senatorial District, the leadership of Kogi West PDP Youth Vanguard has contributed money to secure a campaign office for Alh. Abubakar Ibrahim Idris to step up his gubernatorial aspirations ahead of the November governorship elections in Kogi State.
According to the spokesperson of the organization, Comrade Temitope Olufemi, Kogi West PDP Youth Vanguard is “more concerned about good governance in Kogi state and having considered the pedigree of Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, we have no doubt in our minds as to his ability to take Kogi state to the promised land.”
“Kogites are seriously eager to put an end to the current accidental government in the state by supporting Abubakar,” he said.
The group enjoined Alh. Abubakar Ibrahim Idris to ignore politicians who could not win state assembly elections but had to resort to extreme violence to rob the electorate.
