Kogi West: Adedoyin Ibikunle Submits Nomination Form, Promises To Make A Difference

Chief (Mrs) Adedoyin Ibikunle, one of the leading aspirants for Kogi West Senatorial Seat under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2019 general election, has formally submitted her nomination and expression of interest form at the party’s National Secretariat on Wednesday in Abuja.
Chief Adedoyin, who is the only female aspirant in the race, was accompanied by great multitude of supporters including party faithful from Kogi west, friends and families amidst cheers and jubilation at the National Secretariat.
The philanthropist was warmly received by the party officials who commended her courage and determination, while wishing her success in the electioneering processes as she submitted her form.
Speaking to her teeming supporters shortly after submitting the form, Chief Adedoyin, said that her aspiration was borne out of her passion to alleviating the sufferings of the people of Kogi west senatorial district, who hitherto have not been fairly represented at the Red Chamber.
“My drive and passion to contest this senate position is to serve the people well and bring dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi west.
“My aspiration is all about the people and I have met the first requirement to officially become an aspirant and be a senator with a difference. I promise I will surely make a difference,” Adedoyin said.
She expressed her gratitude to her supporters for the love and honor bestowed on her today inspite their tight scheduled, saying she would not disappoint them.
She, however urged them to rally round and canvass for supports and votes for her ahead of the party primaries and the general elections.
Chief (Mrs) Adedoyin Ibikunle, is the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), Doyin and Susan Foundation. The NGO has over the years empowered hundreds of less privileged youths, widows, women, men, students, among others in Kogi West.
The Foundation has also offered free medical treatment for vulnerables and the poor people of Yagba and conducted various surgical operations for them in collaborations with her US Partners.
The NGO has also facilitated loans for women traders, and farmers across the district as way of making them to engage in farming and be self-reliant.
No doubt, she will definitely do more if she is given the opportunity to representing the good people of Kogi west in the senate in 2019 general elections.
