Kogi West 2019: Forum of Former Speakers Salutes Omoluabi

As the race to the 2019 Senatorial seat gets closer, the aspiration of Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA) has continued to receive unusual and great support from every spectrum of the senatorial district.
He was received as a guest by the Forum of former Speakers of Kogi State House of Assembly under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at Lokoja the state capital.
During the visit, the former speakers present took turns to eulogize and commend Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi for his boldness, resilience and readiness to change the face of representation in the senatorial zone.
While welcoming Omoluabi, former Speaker of Kogi state House of Assembly, Hon. Angulu appreciated Omoluabi for being patriotic enough to go to Court for the restoration of the illegally suppressed state constituencies in Kogi West.
“If you can be ingenious and patriotic enough to fight for our rights in your individual capacity, then I don’t doubt your ability to represent Kogi West in the Senate,” Hon Angulu said.
Another former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Adawari described Omoluabi as a worthy ambassador of the youth.
He urged Omoluabi to see the welfare of the people as his main priority. He promised to mobilize his people in support of the senatorial ambition.
Also present at the consultative meeting is a former House of Representative member who represented Lokoja/Koto federal constituency, Hon Adamu Osuku.
Hon Adamu charged Omoluabi to remain the true voice of the youth, women and the voiceless.
While responding, Omoluabi thanked the great leaders for the warm reception accorded him and promise never to let them down.
He described the leaders present as the conscience and souls of Kogi West senatorial district who must salvage the zone at the time of political hopelessness and obscurity the people are in.
Omoluabi promised to change the tide of things and put the people first in the discharge of democratic assignments. He promised to bring Federal government presence to Kogi west during his tenure.
